Linda Jack VN
Linda has been with us since 1995 and qualified as a VN three years later. Linda plays an invaluable role, being our principal nurse with responsibility for much of the ordering and overseeing of nursing duties throughout the practice and branches. She enjoys dentistry and has recently obtained a veterinary dentistry certificate which has made Linda an even more valuable asset to the practice. Linda also likes getting involved with the setting up and running of the nurse clinics.
Linda enjoys cycling (when it's not raining!) and going for walks with her Staffie, Lexie. Her other hobbies include socialising with friends and collecting as many gardening tips as she can.

Susan Quinn VN
Susan has been with us since 1992,
qualifying two years later and now works with us part-time. Her work
interests include pet behavioural problems and surgical nursing. Susan is responsible for
the theatre nursing of Neils opththalmology surgical cases and has gained invaluable
experience of phacoemulsification and lens replacements. Susan now
plays a principal role in the running of the many puppy parties we hold at
the practice.
Susan enjoys
spending time with her two young girls and leads an active social life in Kirkcaldy.

Dawn
Mackie RVN
Dawn has been with the practice since 1999 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2003. She became a qualified nurse training assesor in January 2004 and performs a vital role in the practice in training our student nurses to a high standard. Dawn enjoys working with the students and gets great satisfaction in helping her colleagues to achieve their qualifications. Dawn is also soon to complete her own 2 year study for a surgical diploma in advanced veterinary nursing.
In her spare time Dawn likes cycling, gardening, nights out with husband Ryan and walking her dog Scout.

Gill
Linton VN
Gill
has been qualified since 1999 and started with us in August 2002. Gill worked
in a small animal dermatology and dental referral surgery in Edinburgh for 7
years where she became head nurse. She has decided to leave the big smoke and
join us here in Fife where she is enjoying the wide variety of work that the
practice offers.
Gill
lives in the East Neuk, has 3 cats and likes hillwalking, camping, cooking and
golf.

Denise Docherty RVN
Denise qualified in January 2003 and has been a part of the nursing team since. She had visited the practice on placement during her training and liked it so much she stayed! Denise has completed her nurse assessor training, enabling her to be a mentor and trainer for our student veterinary nurses.
Denise lives locally and enjoys horse riding, going to the gym, caring for her dog and cat and nights out.

Shirley Ross
Shirley, our nursing assistant, is a friendly face known to all as she has been with us since 2000.
Shirley is a devoted pet lover and when not caring for animals at work she spends her time walking her Boston Terrier Becky or caring for her rescued hens Tikka, Dotty and Ugly Betty. In addition her disabled cat Alfie and 3 pet rabbits keep her very busy.

Gillian
Sorbie
Gillian
has been with St. Clair since August 2002 when she started work as a student veterinary nurse. She has since completed her first year of the course and then had to put her training on hold due to family commitments. Gill now works part-time on Saturday mornings.
She enjoys spending her spare time with her three children and taking care of her 4 cats and 2 rabbits.

Fiona
Ross RVN
Fiona started at the practice in March 2003 and she became a qualified veterinary nurse in May 2007. Like her twin sister Dawn, Fiona has unbounding enthusiasm for her job and is always eager to learn new procedures.
Fiona enjoys swimming, cycling and spending time with her cats and husband Michael.

Stirling
Kelly has been with our Glenrothes branch since 1997. Her many years working with animals have allowed her to build up an extensive knowledge of pets and their problems. Kelly enjoys small animal surgery and has an interest in puppy training.
Kelly
owns five border collies and competes in dog agility competitions and has competed twice at Crufts. Recent additions to the family are Monty and Turbolina, two Hermanns tortoises.

Sandra
Cairns
Sandra
has worked at the Glenrothes branch since 1996 and previously to this worked alongside Kelly at another local practice. They have known each other for many years and together form an extremely efficient team. Sandra is particularly interested in preventative healthcare and behavioural problems.
Sandra
is married with two young children who manage to occupy most of her time. Sandra also has two Rotties, two cats, two guinea pigs and two goldfish and is rumoured to be planning to build an ark!

Amanda Collings
Amanda joined Kelly and Sandra at our Glenrothes branch in December 2007. Having gained a HNC in Animal Care at Elmwood College, Amanda spent a short time working in Spain before coming back to her home town of Glenrothes. Her spare time is spent caring for her cat Mitzi, gerbils McCrae and Rossi and twelve fish and socialising with friends.

Pauline Flynn
Pauline is one of our newest recruits having joined as a student veterinary nurse in 2007. Pauline has just attended her first college block release course, the first step in the gruelling two year course to qualify as a veterinary nurse.

Nicole Manuel RVN
Nicole has been working with us since 2005 and in 2011 qualified as a Veterinary Nurse.
Nicole has a young Labrador who keeps her busy but she also enjoys spending her free time socialising with friends.

Vicci Perkins
Vicci is our receptionist and nursing assistant at the Leven branch, having joined us in March 2006. Prior to this, Vicci had completed all 3 parts of the Kennel Club Good Citizen dog training course and assisted in training at a local dog obedience club.
Vicci is full time at Leven so spends most of her day caring for other peoples' pets which she feels helps make up for not being able to have any of her own. She thoroughly enjoys her job and is keen to undertake further training having just enrolled on the Hills Veterinary Nutrition Advisor course.

Moira McIntosh
Moira joined us in June 2008 having previously worked in a small animal veterinary practice in Lanarkshire where she gained experience as a nursing assistant. Moira works part-time at our Leven surgery.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and is ably assisted in the kitchen by her young daughter.

Leah Patterson
Leah started at St. Clair in June 2009, previously having attended the practice as a student on placement on the Veterinary Nursing Preparatory Course. She is thoroughly enjoying learning new skills whilst working with the animals.
In her spare time she likes to go cycling and walking, loves shopping and also enjoys spending time with boyfriend Chris.

Sandra Taylor RVN
Sandra qualified as a VN in 2005 after completing her training with St. Clair. A year after qualifying she spread her wings and got valuable experience doing locum work in practices from Inverness to the south-east of England, including spells at Glasgow Vet School, the RSPCA Animal Hospital in London and a specialist emergency and critical care centre in Edinburgh. She rejoined St. Clair in 2009 and is undertaking the Diploma in Clinical Veterinary Nursing and the Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing to further her knowledge in diagnostic imaging, surgical and medical nursing.
Sandra is kept busy with 2 teenage daughters, 3 dogs and 2 cats.

Emma Williamson
Emma joined us in October 2010 as a nursing assistant at our Glenrothes surgery. Emma has recently completed an NC in Animal Care at Elmwood College, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
In her spare time she likes walking her black Labrador Jeff and also enjoys swimming and beating her boyfriend at crazy golf!
