Kareen King

Kareen KingKareen joined us in 1996 as a receptionist on a part-time basis. It didn't take her long to adapt her previous dental nursing skills to the needs of our clients and their pets.

Kareen enjoys meeting the clients and their pets on a daily basis arranging appointments, giving advice and organising the reception and waiting room while on duty.

Her hobbies include curling, reading, and enjoying long walks with her rottweiler Amos.

Joan Ferguson

Joan FergusonJoan has been with the practice for over 25 years in total.

Joan started her career covering reception and assisting with nursing duties, but now works in the office dealing with the accounts.

Her hobbies include music, baking and walking her dog Suzy.

Sylvia Robertson

Sylvia joined the practice in 1996, as receptionist.

She is now practice manager looking after marketing, day to day organisation of the surgery and Health and Safety. There is no doubting that without Sylvia's people and management skills, the practice would not be able to function with the efficiency it does.

Sylvia’s hobbies include music, socialising and walking her Springer Spaniel Devon.

Margaret Lennie

Margaret has been our principal afternoon and evening receptionist at Kirkcaldy since July 2002. She enjoys the personal interaction with our clients and their pets.

Margaret's hobbies include craft work, painting, reading, metal music and keeping fit. She likes to spend time with her family and dog Liela. Her hope of doing an Open University degree is on hold until both her children graduate from university.

Julie Kinninmonth

Julie has been working on the reception desk at Kirkcaldy since 2005. She has a very bubbly personality and enjoys her work within the practice greeting clients and meeting all the different pets. Previously Julie worked with primary school children and she says she has no regret switching to working with pets and owners.

Julie enjoys long walks with her dog Kyra who she adopted through the surgery. She also likes socialising with the other staff on nights out and appreciates the camaraderie amongst the team.

Lorna Docherty

Lorna is our newest addition to the reception team at Kirkcaldy. Having started in February 2007 as the Saturday morning assistant, she recently moved in position of weekend receptionist. Lorna combines her role at St. Clair with her college course as she is currently studying child care, learning and development.

In her spare time, she enjoys walking her young collie cross Glen.
