Radiography

Positining dog for x-rayAll x-rays are taken in the radiography room and processed using an automatic processor for consistent results.

X-rays are taken not only to evaluate broken bones but also in the study of soft tissues such as the lungfields or urinary tract.

Clients are always shown the x-rays of their pets and the case discussed with the veterinary surgeon.

An ultrasound examinationWe also use an ultrasound scanner to image various organs such as the liver, spleen and prostate as well as for pregnancy diagnosis in bitches or queens.

This latter procedure is carried out in the consulting room with the owner present and the process explained in full by the vet.
